Well it’s no secret that Summer is fastly coming to an end, so it’s time to cram those last minute trips, adventures and favorite recipes in for a savory season. A few years back, I came across this Mango & Avocado Salsa recipe that I absolutely gush over. It’s been so long that I can’t even remember where I got it from. I’m not sure what made me stop mixing and chopping this up but I was recently given some freshly grown tomatoes from someone’s yard, which led me to put them to good use. Although this recipe contains more mango and avocado than tomatoes (the original recipe doesn’t have tomatoes), it’s really good and different from your typical salsa.
The cilantro was a hit! While chopping these up, I never realized how good they smell! Great aroma. 🙂
So if you’re in the mood for chopping and dicing, then I highly recommend including this yummy dish to your Summer meals. Take that Martha Stewart!! lol
Tip: Add cold cooked shrimp to beef up your salsa more, I bet it will be delish!
