It’s not a heel…but you should love these just the same: The Oxford

Sometimes heel advocates want to take a break from the torturous pain that pumps or stilettos can give our feet, so we opt out for the alternate style–flats. Fortunately, flats come in different shapes and trends, but I’m sure you are no stranger to our semi-latest crave; The Oxford. We use to affiliate oxfords with boring school uniforms, or just the preppy chick who wasn’t so stylish, however, now the Oxford has almost been a fulfillment for the daily pump. Now you know I’m not saying its a perfect substitute, but it is damn near close to feeding our trendy selves and making an outfit stand out for our girly or preppy-chic appeal. Another great thing about this trend is the plethora of styles to chose from, as you see above.

  1. Alexander Wang Ines Oxford  $425
  2. Spring 2011 Prada Platform Oxfords $420.00
  3. Mulberry Rose Gold Oxford $589.05
  4. Ego & Greed Oxford Fur $120.00
  5. Bloch Hannah Captoe Oxfords $165.00
  6. Report Signature Tyler Oxford $101.75 (on sale)
  7. In With the Gold Flat $39.99
  8. Cooperative Floral Print Oxford $49.00
  9. Cute Runnings Flat $49.99 (on sale)

Awww I love Oxfords too! Simply because they’re comfortable and they won’t oversaturate the market because not many people can pull them off 🙂
