Hey lovelies, here are some pictures from a fashion show I helped style for Morgan State University‘s Fashion At Morgan (FAM.) The show was on Sunday evening, April 3rd, and it was definitely an experience to remember, since I hadn’t worked on a fashion show in quite some time. The theme “Catalogue de la Mode” captured an array of different magazines and styles such as, I-D magazine, Nylon and Vogue with backdrops of the magazine covers for the audience to see (So Hot!) My lovely brother, Avon Dorsey (founder of FAM), asked me to style for the W magazine scene and wanted a Pink-Parisian Couture look with a mixture of champagne brown tones. Below are some of the pictures I took backstage and some from other photographers.
I had 10 models but unfortunately, I don’t have the pics for all of them. I was backstage for the most part helping them get dressed so i couldn’t get my flick on. 😦
This is one of my favorite looks. Model and student Brianna Mahoney really worked her trench coat look.
I didnt style the last three photos. I took them in the beginning of the show. I love the ethnic print dress on the model above. Also, the man you see with the fierce look is the designer for that dress and let me tell you…he gave RuPaul a run for his money on that runway. He really worked it in those heels! Love!
