What the First family wore on Inauguration day…

Okay, so before i go into my thoughts, i would like to say that i am definitely a fan of Michelle Obama’s regal and stylish looks for the duration of the Presidential campaign to most recent, however, today it was a bit too matchy matchy and maybe too fancy or should i say too fancy for the occasion. I really think she could have came a little better, but of course that wasn’t the main attraction of the day… Obama became the 44th black president of the United States of America. Woohoo!! However since this is a fashion blog, i have to speak my peace. Michelle wore a gold yellow brocade shift dress with matching overcoat which was designed by NY designer Isabel Toledo. Maybe it was the fabric of the dress, with the crystals all over and with a combination of the fit of the jacket. I also wasn’t impressed with the color. I’m not saying it was horrible because she makes anything look good, i just thought it was asi asi. 🙂

Check out the pics below.

Now the girls, Sasha and Malia, looked adorable! They wore J. Crew. Awwww

I wrote a previous post about what Obama would be wearing here. He looked AMAZING as usual. (Big smiles)
